The Discover Cluster
The capacity computing system at the NASA Center for Computational Sciences (NCCS) is "Discover," a Linux Networx Custom Supersystem with 2,560 processors. Discover offers five times the computing power of the "Halem" HP AlphaServer SC45 system it replaces.
